Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sayasuka Huruhara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sayasuka Huruhara has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde dodges the punch combination from Huruhara.
Huruhara looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hyde shoots in for a double leg but Huruhara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hyde wants to stand and escape but instead Huruhara has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hyde has his foot on Huruhara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huruhara works his way back into a safe position though.

Hyde working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Huruhara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Huruhara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Huruhara has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hyde can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hyde shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Huruhara defends it nicely.
Huruhara looks for the body kick but Hyde saw that one coming.
Huruhara displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hyde.
Hyde goes for a double leg but Huruhara avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Huruhara continues to drive forward.

Huruhara has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hyde uses from the top position.

Huruhara looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hyde has picked Huruhara up and slammed him! Huruhara can't keep hold of the triangle and Hyde manages to pass to side control!
