Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Holy Diver!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diver misses with a takedown attempt - Badz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Diver fails with the takedown
and Badz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Badz.
Diver is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Badz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bocco Badz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holy Diver.
Badz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Badz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Diver after a bit of a struggle.
Diver lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Badz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diver pulls his head out easily.

Diver is nestled in close to Badz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diver connects with a nice short shot to Badz's temple.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Diver throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Badz's waist but Badz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diver off to one side.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
