Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Semore Butkiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeRoy Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butkiss's entrance music is Mama said. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Semore Butkiss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, LeRoy Parker!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Butkiss was well out of range. Poor timing from Parker.
Parker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Butkiss doesn't seem bothered though.
Butkiss avoids the body shot from Parker.
Butkiss swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A bone on bone clash there as Butkiss blocks the leg kick.
Butkiss just misses with a punch to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Parker.
Butkiss ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Butkiss.

Butkiss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parker's guard.

As Parker looks to move away, Butkiss throws a big counter combo bu Parker just gets out of the way.
Parker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Butkiss sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Butkiss shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Butkiss looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well.
Parker throws a nice looking combination but Butkiss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Butkiss uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parker.
It looked like Butkiss was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Parker.
Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Butkiss circles away quickly and effectively.

Parker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Butkiss rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

LeRoy Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but Butkiss sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Parker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butkiss with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
