Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Crushinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clark Kent!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crushinski.
Crushinski throws a head kick that misses.

so Crushinski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kent is trying to keep Crushinski in close.

Crushinski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Crushinski stands up over Kent, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Crushinski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crushinski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Crushinski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kent's head.
Crushinski advances to half guard.
Crushinski controlling the action here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crushinski passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kent!
Kent looks gassed!

Crushinski has hold of Kent's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kent manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Crushinski has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ivan Crushinski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Crushinski throws out a loose jab but Kent uses good head movement to avoid it.

Crushinski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kent creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Crushinski lands an elbow inside that Kent shrugs off.


It looks like Clark Kent has been cut.
Kent takes an elbow to the forehead.
Crushinski's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Crushinski lands an elbow that stopped Kent in his tracks for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crushinski. Crushinski obviously looking to wear him down.

Crushinski rushes Kent and presses him up against the cage.

That has opened up Clark Kent's cut even more.

Crushinski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Crushinski pulls guard successfully.

Crushinski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crushinski pulls Kent in close to prevent any damage.

Crushinski is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kent rolls with it to try and escape but Crushinski cranks on the arm and Kent is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ivan Crushinski!
