Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Burnside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Johansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burnside's entrance music is Clipse - Money. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnside ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johansson moves away.
A head kick misses from Burnside.
Johansson misses with a double jab.
Burnside throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johansson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Burnside shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Burnside trying to control the position from guard on top but Johansson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johansson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burnside's guard.
Johansson wants to pass the guard but Burnside is keeping the position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johansson connects with a nice short shot to Burnside's temple.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Johansson wants to control but Burnside is keeping him busy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Burnside avoids the head kick by Johansson.
Johansson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Burnside looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burnside swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Burnside tries to clinch but Johansson moves out of range.
Burnside throws a series of punches but Johansson avoids them all with ease.
The crowd cheers as Burnside lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johansson doesn't seem phased though.

Burnside darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Burnside knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johansson on the ground.

Burnside is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, if Burnside is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

You get the feeling that Johansson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Burnside cracks Johansson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
