The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gregorian sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gregorian looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hernandez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hernandez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hernandez shoots in looking for a takedown. Gregorian tries to sprawl out of it but Hernandez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gregorian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hernandez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ifarel Gregorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Hernandez.
Gregorian buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Gregorian looks to throw the jab but Hernandez is out of range.

Hernandez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gregorian.

Hernandez closes the distance and clinches up with Gregorian, looking for a takedown. Hernandez pushes Gregorian against the cage but Gregorian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A quick step to the side and Gregorian tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gregorian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hernandez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Hernandez is looking to clinch.

Gregorian lands with a hook. Hernandez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hernandez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gregorian can pounce on him.
Hernandez throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hernandez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gregorian.

The fighters circling - Gregorian throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hernandez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hernandez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crunch! Gregorian slams his shin into Hernandez's torso.
Gregorian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hernandez was well out of range. Poor timing from Gregorian.
Hernandez avoids the head kick by Gregorian.
Gregorian lands a brutal head kick. Hernandez looks out on his feet and Gregorian throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
