PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ciprian Mukesha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Bustamante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mukesha comes into the arena with Sound of Madness blaring out of the sound system. Demian Bustamante will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ciprian Mukesha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demian Bustamante!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mukesha wants to clinch up but Bustamante keeps it at a distance.
Mukesha takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Some wild striking there from Mukesha.
Mukesha takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bustamante.

Bustamante bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bustamante takes a little break here. Mukesha wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Mukesha is breathing heavily.

Bustamante has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mukesha really wants to buck Bustamante off and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bustamante lands a heavy elbow.
Bustamante can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mukesha is looking to escape.
BOOM! Bustamante connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bustamante has isolated one of Mukesha's arms. Mukesha looking to fight him off but Bustamante twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
