Kilpatrick is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Irish pub. Eddie Kilpatrick acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heyerdahl throws a quick inside leg kick.
Eddie Kilpatrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilpatrick fails to land with a series of punches.
Kilpatrick moves in looking to clinch but Heyerdahl pushes him off.
Kilpatrick avoids the head kick by Heyerdahl.
Heyerdahl throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kilpatrick misses with a straight left.
Kilpatrick looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Heyerdahl is fending him off so far but Kilpatrick persists. Nope, Heyerdahl circles away and we're back to standing.
Heyerdahl looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Kilpatrick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Heyerdahl misses with a head kick.
Kilpatrick with the counter takedown but Heyerdahl avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kilpatrick has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Heyerdahl.
Kilpatrick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Heyerdahl counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kilpatrick! Heyerdahl lets Kilpatrick back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Kilpatrick drops his hands momentarily and Heyerdahl needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kilpatrick just on the top of the head. Kilpatrick drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kilpatrick - he's done!

Thor Heyerdahl decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Eddie Kilpatrick had this to say: 'another loss isnt good lad.... i need to go away and think'.
