The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Fredriksson as Grzesiuk shoots in.
A countering left hand to the body from Fredriksson misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grzesiuk.
Fredriksson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Fredriksson feints and then cracks Grzesiuk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Grzesiuk down.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fredriksson.
Fredriksson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fredriksson.
Grzesiuk takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Grzesiuk dives in and grabs Fredriksson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fredriksson pushes down on Grzesiuk's head and hops out.

Grzesiuk tries to counter by clinching up but Fredriksson breaks away and moves out of range.
Roland Fredriksson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fredriksson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fredriksson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grzesiuk manages to avoid it.

Grzesiuk shoots in looking for a takedown. Fredriksson tries to sprawl out of it but Grzesiuk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fredriksson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fredriksson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fredriksson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Fredriksson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Grzesiuk backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fredriksson.
Grzesiuk looking for a takedown.
Fredriksson is trying to maintain a safe position but Grzesiuk gets an underhook and turns Fredriksson into the cage.
Grzesiuk tries to pull guard but Fredriksson won't allow it.
Grzesiuk goes for a takedown attempt but Fredriksson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Grzesiuk shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fredriksson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Grzesiuk drops back looking for a leg! Fredriksson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fredriksson manages to kick Grzesiuk off! Grzesiuk jumps back into Fredriksson's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grzesiuk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Grzesiuk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fredriksson dives on top into guard.

Fredriksson is pushing down on Grzesiuk's leg trying to pass to half guard. Grzesiuk is fighting to maintain full guard but Fredriksson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Grzesiuk is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fredriksson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fredriksson's back!
