Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Rimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Puckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rimes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson. Noah Puckerman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Optimus Rimes's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puckerman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Puckerman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Puckerman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rimes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rimes throws a solid leg kick but Puckerman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rimes.
Puckerman throws a nice looking combination but Rimes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rimes connects with a single shot there.
Puckerman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puckerman takes a swing at Rimes's ribcage but misses.
Rimes throws a body punch but Puckerman moves out of range.
Rimes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Puckerman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puckerman blocks a leg kick.
Puckerman wants to counter with a clinch but Rimes pushes him away.
An inside leg kick lands from Rimes.
Rimes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Puckerman moves out of range of the strikes.

Puckerman throws a right hand that misses
and Rimes counters with a slapping leg kick.
Rimes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Puckerman.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rimes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Puckerman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Puckerman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rimes looks to clinch

Rimes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rimes slips a straight right by Puckerman.
An inside leg kick lands from Rimes.
Rimes lands a nice looking body shot.
Puckerman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rimes misses with a hook
and Puckerman counters with a straight right hand.
Puckerman clobbers Rimes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rimes throws a wild body kick that Puckerman sees coming a mile off.
Rimes misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rimes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rimes lands a right hook to the body.
Rimes scores with a nice right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puckerman tries to clinch up but Rimes circles away and keeps his distance.
Rimes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Optimus Rimes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rimes thumps Puckerman with a low kick.
Puckerman looks to land a left hand but Rimes moved out of range nicely.
Rimes is looking to counter the offense by Puckerman and move into the clinch.
A jab lands there for Puckerman.
Rimes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A little jabbing left from Puckerman on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rimes misses the shot to the body.

Rimes is rocked!
Puckerman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Rimes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Puckerman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Puckerman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Puckerman lands with a good body shot.

Puckerman rushes Rimes and presses him up against the cage.
Puckerman unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Rimes! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Puckerman is unloading with more strikes now! Rimes drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Puckerman!
Noah Puckerman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Penn's Laundry 80% LAUNDRY IS AVAILABLE logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
