Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamora comes to the cage accompanied by Medieval Fiddle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamora fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bob tries to clinch up but Zamora circles away and keeps his distance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Zamora is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bob is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Zamora goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bob has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Zamora but great work by Bob.

and Bob counters with a head kick. That will keep Zamora thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Cody Zamora has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Bob.

Zamora gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Zamora had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bob is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zamora Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bob's back instead.

Zamora is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Zamora has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bob's body.
Cody Zamora overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
