Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Quagmire Yeah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xiao Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quagmire Yeah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xiao Hua!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hua misses with a few strikes there.
Yeah seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A combination from Hua does no damage.
Hua throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Yeah's head.


It looks like Quagmire Yeah has been cut.
Hua pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Yeah tries to keep at a distance but Hua has taken the fight into the clinch.

Yeah pulls guard successfully.
Hua has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yeah is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hua controlling from the top position.
Yeah wants to hit a switch here but Hua passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Yeah there!
Yeah keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hua sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Let's hope that Hua has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Hua's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Yeah is working to get back to half guard.
Yeah is working hard here to advance position.
Hua sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Yeah is desperately trying to improve his position but Hua has a good base and remains in mount.
Hua controlling his opponent.
Hua throws some wild stikes that Yeah manages to avoid easily.

Yeah is trying to escape the mount.
Hua takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Yeah knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hua on the ground.
It looks like Hua might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Yeah can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Xiao Hua dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Quagmire Yeah's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Hua connects with the punch.
Hua rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yeah moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Xiao Hua is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hua feints a jab promting Yeah to slip. Hua then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Yeah slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hua.
Hua lands with an overhand left.

Hua closes the distance and pushes Yeah back into the cage.
Yeah can't get the takedown.
Hua creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Yeah's defenses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hua lands a right hand that snaps the head of Yeah backwards.
Nice body punch from Hua.
Hua lands an elbow inside.
A right handed body shot lands from Hua.

Hua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yeah avoids the head kick by Hua.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Both fighters circling a little - Hua finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hua lands a head shot.
Xiao Hua seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hua moves into the clinch.
Hua pressing his opponent against the cage.
Yeah jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hua walks away with a smile on his face. Yeah gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hua closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The referee calls for Hua to work.
Hua connects with a nasty looking knee right to Yeah's face.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hua.
Hua lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Yeah.
Hua lands a knee to the body.
Hua lands a body punch.
A short left from Hua.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hua lands a body punch in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hua.
Knees to the body from Hua.
Hua lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Hua breaks the clinch.
Hua throws a head kick that misses.
Hua throws a head kick that misses.
Hua looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Yeah shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hua lands with a kick to the temple. Yeah shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hua has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hua looks for the body kick but Yeah saw that one coming.
Hua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yeah's waist but Yeah gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hua off to one side.

Hua has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yeah takes a knee right on the jaw!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yeah tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hua just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quagmire Yeah. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yeah stalling in the clinch but Hua improves position.
Hua working Yeah over with knees to the body.
Yeah fails to pull guard.
Yeah's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hua lands a nice elbow.
Hua lands a shot to the body.

Hua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters circle, before Hua throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Yeah's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hua lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Xiao Hua!
Xiao Hua spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
