Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kreb Barishkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barishkov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Seek and Destroy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Eddie Armstrong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barishkov lands a nice hook to Armstrong's body. Armstrong takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Armstrong tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Barishkov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Armstrong takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Eddie Armstrong has been cut.

Barishkov throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Armstrong wants to counter the offense by Barishkov and move into the clinch position.
Barishkov throws a looping overhand right but Armstrong ducks down to avoid it.
Barishkov misses with a hook.
Barishkov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Barishkov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Jef Li's MMA(13 coaches, 49 cap) in the buildup to the fight.
Armstrong lands with a nice body punch.

Barishkov thows a leg kick but Armstrong checks it

and Armstrong counters with a single leg into guard. Barishkov didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Armstrong is looking to work some ground and pound but Barishkov has wrist control.
Armstrong is working Barishkov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Armstrong doesn't manage to clinch there - Barishkov circles away.
Armstrong loads up on a big right hand but Barishkov slips the punch.
Armstrong avoids the body shot from Barishkov.
Armstrong throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Armstrong misses with a body shot.
Barishkov lands an overhand right.
Barishkov throws an overhand right that lands on Armstrong's shoulder, as Armstrong tries to avoid the shot.
Armstrong shoots in looking for a takedown but Barishkov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Armstrong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Barishkov is looking to chop away at Armstrong's legs.

Armstrong drives through with a takedown into Barishkov's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Armstrong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Barishkov is pulling down on Armstrong's head. It's preventing any offense from Armstrong, at least for the moment.

Armstrong is looking to work some ground and pound but Barishkov has wrist control.
Barishkov looking for a sweep. Not yet Barishkov, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barishkov keeping full guard, as Armstrong tries to pass.
Armstrong looking to sit in guard and control but Barishkov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Armstrong controlling the position.
Armstrong wants to control but Barishkov passes easily into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Armstrong tries to roll over but Barishkov keeps him under control.
Armstrong tries to kick Barishkov off in order to stand up. Barishkov Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Armstrong is looking to reverse the position.
Barishkov trying to control the position but Armstrong is working away.
Armstrong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barishkov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Armstrong is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kreb Barishkov will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Eddie Armstrong's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Armstrong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barishkov.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Barishkov, as that shot connected.
Barishkov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Barishkov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Armstrong walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Armstrong moves to clinch but Barishkov breaks away
and Barishkov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A swing and a miss from Barishkov.
Kreb Barishkov is winning the standup battle so far.
Barishkov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barishkov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Armstrong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Armstrong shoots and misses
and Barishkov scores with a counter punch that sends Armstrong to the canvas! Barishkov smells blood - he's punishing Armstrong with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Armstrong has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kreb Barishkov!
