The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Hohenheim throws a nice looking combination but Goodman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A slapping body kick lands there for Von Hohenheim.
Goodman throws a solid leg kick but Von Hohenheim takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Goodman.
Von Hohenheim throws a looping overhand right but Goodman ducks down to avoid it.
Goodman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Goodman clobbers Von Hohenheim with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goodman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Von Hohenheim lands a really nice looking cross but Goodman seems unphased.

Goodman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Goodman lands in his opponent's guard.
Von Hohenheim bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Goodman's guard.

Goodman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Goodman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Von Hohenheim is looking to control Goodman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Von Hohenheim avoid being mounted?
