PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyron Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ching Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch up

and Dan counters with a takedown into side control.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Dan decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Dan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dan has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.

Dan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Silva manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Ching Dan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
