The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurst misses with a takedown attempt
and Daniel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Patrick Wayne Hurst has been cut.
Hurst with a poor takedown
and Daniel counters with a nice uppercut.
Hurst looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A swing and a miss from Hurst.
Daniel takes a swing at Hurst's ribcage but misses.
Hurst gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Daniel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hurst thinking.
Briscoe Daniel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Wayne Hurst.
Hurst rushes Daniel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Daniel lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hurst backwards.
Hurst wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hurst tries to circle away but Daniel has him pinned against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Daniel.
Daniel content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Daniel throws a big uppercut that drops Hurst! More strikes from Daniel and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hurst lies dazed against the cage as Daniel celebrates with his cornermen!
