Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Babinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McGready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babinski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad. Connor McGready told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGready stalks Babinski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Babinski's face. Babinski staggers backwards, shaken.
A jab from McGready finds it's way through Babinski's defenses.
McGready connects with a right hand. Babinski shakes it off.
Babinski takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McGready throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGready works Babinski's body with a nice hook.
McGready scores with a nice strike.
McGready lands a nice hook to Babinski's body. Babinski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Babinski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGready misses with a few strikes there.
McGready keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McGready uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Babinski throws a looping overhand right but McGready ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGready scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McGready throws a series of punches but Babinski moves out of range.
McGready throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A little feinted left hand from Babinski on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Babinski drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Babinski looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
McGready lands a nice hook to Babinski's body. Babinski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Damian Babinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Babinski turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Babinski fails with a takedown attempt.
Babinski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice jab there from McGready.
Babinski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McGready cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Babinski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGready scores with a jab. Babinski acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Babinski is rocked!
McGready is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Babinski had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Babinski takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Babinski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Babinski gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! McGready points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Babinski wakes up just in time to hear McGready thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Connor McGready!
A less than humble Connor McGready misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
