Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JJ James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laban Ladvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JJ James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Laban Ladvik!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladvik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from James.
James thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ladvik fails with an attempt to clinch.
James throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ladvik sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ladvik shoots in looking for a takedown but James manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ladvik's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ladvik tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ladvik shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Ladvik keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, James just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ladvik's brow.

Ladvik pulls guard effortlessly.
Ladvik is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
James wants to control from the top but Ladvik keeps moving.
James will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
James is fighting to break Ladvik's control of his arms but Ladvik is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Ladvik has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
James tries to free his leg and advance position but Ladvik is retaining full guard.
Ladvik has his feet on James's thighs here. He's pushed James off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! James screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
