Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Judd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cactus Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack has chosen Symphony Of Destruction by Megadeth as his entrance music. Cactus Jack has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eugene Judd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cactus Jack!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jack takes the fight into the clinch.
Judd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jack misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jack misses with a body punch.
Judd taking a breather.
Jack misses with an elbow strike.
Jack misses with an elbow strike.
Judd can't break the clinch.
Jack tries a body shot but Judd blocks it.
Judd misses with a punch on the inside.
Jack can't find room to land a body shot as Judd controls the action.
Jack manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jack keeps control of Judd as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack tries to work over Judd's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Judd blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Judd tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jack just stands there and leans against the cage.

Jack can't find room to land a body shot as Judd controls the action.
Judd fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jack goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jack throws an elbow that misses.

Judd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Judd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Judd tried to counter with a leg kick but Jack avoided it.

Judd is trying to pull guard but Jack has him pressed against the cage.

Jack misses with a punch to the body.
Jack looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Jack creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Jack got a little sloppy there for a moment and Judd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jack has managed to get both his arms back between Judd's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Judd tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Judd lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jack is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Judd throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jack works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jack wants to stand up but Judd is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Judd darts in and clinches Jack up against the cage.
Jack throws an elbow but it misses.
Judd avoiding damage as Jack throws knees to the body.
Judd is looking to control Jack's arms but Jack gets an underhook and turns him. Now Judd has his back to the cage.
Judd is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jack is defending well.
Judd is working for takedown but Jack is calmly controlling the position for now.

Judd has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jack uses from the top position.
Jack has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Judd is proving hard to escape from.
Judd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jack is one step ahead there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Judd throws a right hand that Jack ducks under and follows up with a left that Jack also avoids with ease.

Jack misses with a hook to the ribs.
Judd wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Judd tries to pull guard but Jack won't allow it.

Judd has Jack pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jack manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Judd is trying to drag Jack to the mat but Jack just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Judd jumps guard.
Jack wants to get up but he can't break Judd's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Judd is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jack looks like he's trying to stand up.
Judd is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jack!
Jack's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Judd wants to control the pace but Jack is squirming around nicely.
Jack is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Jack wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Judd.
Cactus Jack is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Judd trying to control but Jack is having none of it.
Jack is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Judd has taken his back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Judd misses with punches from the back.
Jack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Judd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jack is trying to get back to his feet but Judd has full control of the position and if anything, Jack has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Jack has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Judd.

A lull in the action here.
Jack wants to get back to his feet.

Eugene Judd showed his dominance in that final round.

Cactus Jack spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
