The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturtsil looks for a takedown but Khali sprawls well.

Khali forces Sturtsil back against the cage and clinches.

Khali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sturtsil is defended easily by Khali.
Sturtsil fails with a takedown attempt.

Khali wants to clinch

and Sturtsil decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Khali's guard.
Khali wants to stand and escape but Sturtsil is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khali is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sturtsil dives into side control.

Sturtsil is trying to get an arm triangle but Khali is defending well.
Sturtsil wants to control but Khali is keeping him busy.

Sturtsil working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Sturtsil lands some shots froms side control.
Sturtsil is working Khali over with some ground and pound from side control.
Sturtsil advances nicely into full mount.
Khali is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Sturtsil tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Khali is controlling an arm, preventing Sturtsil from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Khali is trying to stand up.
Khali is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Sturtsil lands a couple of good shots and Khali has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Sturtsil has his arm under Khali's chin here. Game over son! Sturtsil squeezes tightly and Khali is forced to tap out!
