Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cherubim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Santos did well to prevent Cherubim getting side control.

Cherubim seems to be working for a kimura but Santos defends the submission attempt.

Cherubim is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Santos to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Santos shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cherubim lands a big shot there that rocks Santos but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Cherubim is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Santos has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Santos!
