Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kantemir Gaunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robinho Kumerlee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). He arrived on a last minute flight shortly after looking tired and unhappy. Officials decided the fight should still take place, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

Kumerlee clinches up with Gaunov and pushes him back against the cage.

We've been hearing reports that Gaunov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kantemir Gaunov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kumerlee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Gaunov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kumerlee finds it's way round the side to connect with Gaunov's head.

Gaunov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kumerlee but Kumerlee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
