The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klinjsma throws a lazy body kick
and Plouman counters with a stiff right hand.
A head kick misses from Klinjsma.
Klinjsma tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Plouman swivels and escapes.
Klinjsma has his takedown stuffed
and Plouman counters with a nice uppercut.

Plouman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaltje Klinjsma. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Klinjsma throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Plouman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Klinjsma is in Plouman's guard.

Plouman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klinjsma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Klinjsma is taking a breather. Plouman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've been hearing that Klinjsma has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Plouman is in a horrible position here. Klinjsma smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Klinjsma throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Plouman has his hands clasped together but Klinjsma breaks the hold and Plouman is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Klinjsma!
