Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Vesa Asikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mashall Eriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mashall Eriksen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksen fails to land with a series of punches.
Asikainen misses with a low kick as Eriksen jumps back.

Asikainen slips a jab and a cross from Eriksen.
Asikainen throws a right hand that Eriksen ducks under and follows up with a left that Eriksen also avoids with ease.
Eriksen lands a right hook to the body.
Eriksen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Asikainen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Mashall Eriksen has been cut.
The fighters circling - Asikainen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Asikainen looks to land a left hand but Eriksen moved out of range nicely.
Eriksen scores with a sloppy right hand. Asikainen should have avoided that one.
Mashall Eriksen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Donk. Eriksen catches Asikainen right on the button with a cross.

Asikainen closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Eriksen crashing to the mat! Eriksen uses the cage to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Eriksen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Asikainen.
Asikainen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Eriksen.

That has opened up Mashall Eriksen's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Asikainen is pushing down on Eriksen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Eriksen is fighting to maintain full guard but Asikainen has managed to sneak the leg through.

Eriksen can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Asikainen controls the position.
Asikainen working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Asikainen has an Americana. Eriksen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Asikainen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Asikainen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
