PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arvi Rausku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claus Clausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rausku comes to the cage accompanied by Notkea Rotta - Taas Lähtee Taju . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clausen throws out a powerful jab.
Clausen moves out of range of the strikes.
Clausen now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Clausen throws the left hand but Rausku avoids the punch easily.
Clausen throws a looping overhand right but Rausku ducks down to avoid it.
Rausku appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Rausku fails with the takedown.
Rausku shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Clausen pinned against the cage. Clausen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rausku keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clausen.
Clausen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rausku stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rausku shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clausen but Clausen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arvi Rausku. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rausku goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Clausen rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rausku's guard! Nice work there by Clausen!
Rausku seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Rausku isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Clausen stacks Rausku on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Clausen!

Rausku is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Clausen defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Rausku has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Clausen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Clausen is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Rausku off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rausku seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Clausen for as long as he can get away with.
