Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Melet is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Knight's half guard.
Knight tries to get to full guard but Melet has control of the leg.

Melet is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Knight has managed to free his arm - good work.
Knight manages to get to full guard.
Melet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Melet drops back looking for a leg! Knight is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Knight manages to kick Melet off! Melet jumps back into Knight's guard.

Knight working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Melet doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Melet manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Knight quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Melet has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Knight celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
