Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Malcovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Malcovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malcovich fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Morgan throws a right hand that Malcovich ducks under and follows up with a left that Malcovich also avoids with ease.

Morgan darts in and clinches Malcovich up against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The strikes coming from Morgan are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Morgan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Malcovich jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morgan walks away with a smile on his face. Malcovich gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Malcovich bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Morgan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Malcovich circles away quickly and effectively.
Malcovich throws a counter high kick but Morgan was just alert enough to avoid it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Malcovich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well Morgan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
