Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meng Kachanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kachanan tries to clinch there but Zimmerman circles away.

and Kachanan counters with a good, hard body kick but Zimmerman shrugs it off.

Kachanan lands an elbow that stopped Zimmerman in his tracks for a moment.

A bit of stalling here from Zimmerman.
Kachanan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zimmerman walks away with a smile on his face. Kachanan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zimmerman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zimmerman jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Kachanan closes the distance and clinches.
Kachanan lands a good knee to the midsection. Zimmerman won't want to take too many of those.

Zimmerman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meng Kachanan dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Zimmerman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Zimmerman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kachanan as he avoids it easily.

And Zimmerman counters with a quick kick to the body but Kachanan blocks it.
Kachanan misses with a two punch combination.
Zimmerman tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kachanan manages to circle out of the way.

It appears Zimmerman was looking to counter with a kick there.

Kachanan moves in looking to clinch but Zimmerman pushes him off.

Meng Kachanan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Kachanan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
