Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Smith wants the takedown. Garcia is fighting it off but Smith persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Garcia's guard against the cage.

Garcia postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.
Garcia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
