Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyler Delgado!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado wants to slow Potts down by chopping away at his legs.

Potts clinches with his opponent.

Potts pulls guard.
Potts is pulling down on Delgado's head to control his posture.
Potts has a closed guard, preventing Delgado from standing up.
Potts looking for a sweep. Not yet Potts, not yet.
Delgado has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Potts is proving hard to escape from.

Delgado drops back, looking for a kneebar! Potts looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Potts looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Potts!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Potts looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Delgado tries to bench press Potts off him but Potts keeps the position.
Potts controlling from side mount.
Potts in side control lands a decent elbow.
Delgado wants to control but Potts postures up.

Potts tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Potts has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Potts has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Delgado is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Potts yanks on the arm and Delgado is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Potts.
