Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kukulcan Tonga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abedisi Mahamud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahamud has chosen Darkest corner - Drummin from darknessg as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kukulcan Tonga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Abedisi Mahamud!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahamud swings widly with a right hand

Mahamud has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mahamud throws a nice looking combination but Tonga bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tonga changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Tonga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mahamud might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tonga has control of Mahamud's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mahamud regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tonga is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mahamud can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
