Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micah Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Miller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller swats away the attempt to clinch by Dennis.

Miller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dennis, who protects the arm well.
Dennis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dennis is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Miller.

Miller is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dennis is defending well though. Miller let's go of the attempt for now.
Miller has the hooks in. Dennis is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Dennis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Miller's guard. Nice work there by Dennis.

Richard Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Miller moves into the clinch.
Dennis has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Miller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dennis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dennis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dennis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dennis stands up over Miller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
