The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimir tries for a takedown but Rich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rich appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Vladimir shoots in but no luck this time.
Vladimir shoots in looking for a takedown but Rich manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vladimir's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nigga Rich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jovan Vladimir.
Vladimir dives in for a single leg takedown but Rich sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A quick step to the side and Rich tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

A little feinted left hand from Rich on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rich blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Vladimir changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rich fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Rich tries to keep at a distance but Vladimir has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rich seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Nigga Rich.

and Rich counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Rich counters with a crisp one two that drops Vladimir! Rich thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vladimir to his feet! Vladimir is in big trouble!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Vladimir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rich's waist but Rich gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vladimir off to one side.
Rich defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vladimir.
Vladimir wants to clinch up but Rich keeps it at a distance.

and Rich makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
