Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Votava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axl Dokken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Votava's entrance music is I Stand Alone. A fine choice. Dokken is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cherry Pie "Warrant". I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanislav Votava!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Axl Dokken!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dokken misses with a head kick.
Votava dives in for a single leg takedown but Dokken sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Votava shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dokken as he avoids it easily.
Dokken looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dokken misses with a body shot.
Votava connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dokken. Dokken circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Votava circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dokken fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Votava manages to avoid it.
Votava swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dokken misses with a head kick.
Dokken looks winded!
Dokken takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Votava looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dokken ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Votava moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Votava shoots in for a takedown but Dokken shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanislav Votava. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Votava avoids the body shot from Dokken.
Votava was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dokken tests Votava's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Axl Dokken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Votava feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dokken sprawling to the canvas! Dokken rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Votava finish him?!
Dokken is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Votava works Dokken's body with a nice hook.
Dokken is still on wobbly legs! Can Votava finish him?
Dokken slaps away a takedown attempt from Votava, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dokken pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dokken moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Votava closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dokken! Votava dives in looking to finish! Dokken is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanislav Votava!
Stanislav Votava really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sparta Fightware logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
