The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boushay lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Boushay fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Belafonte, pushing him back against the cage.

Boushay lands a right hand that snaps the head of Belafonte backwards.
Belafonte changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boushay fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Boushay throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Belafonte blocks it with crossed arms.

Belafonte seems to have recovered his senses.

Boushay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boushay closes the distance and clinches.

Boushay manages to break the clinch.
Bobby Boushay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Belafonte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boushay's waist but Boushay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Belafonte off to one side.
