Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Sax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Garrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sax comes to the cage accompanied by Solonen & Kosola - Kolmetoista Kertaa Kovempi Ku Kukaan . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garrison has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sax is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Garrison uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sax.

We've been hearing good reports from Sax's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sax ducks straight into an uppercut from Garrison and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Sax manages to regain guard straight away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sax takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Garrison has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Garrison there as he acknowledges the shot.

Sax parries the strikes from Garrison easily there. Garrison is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sax to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Garrison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Garrison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Garrison tries to score with some ground and pound. Sax controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Garrison misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Garrison scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sax to see if he's OK.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The strikes coming from Garrison are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Garrison steps into range and cracks Sax with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Sax flops backwards and Garrison dives into his guard looking to finish!

Garrison cracks Sax with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Garrison immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Sax is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Garrison!
