Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Hauser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McDaniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack McDaniels will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniels moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hauser takes one to the chin there.
Hauser uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
McDaniels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hauser.
Hauser half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
McDaniels swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hauser throws a low kick, looking for McDaniels's leg but McDaniels calmly moves out of range.
McDaniels checks the leg kick nicely there.
It seemed like McDaniels was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hauser is looking to land body kicks.
McDaniels swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hauser tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

McDaniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hauser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hauser is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hauser is looking to work some ground and pound but McDaniels has wrist control.
Hauser postures up in McDaniels's guard and throws a big left but McDaniels blocks it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
McDaniels's coach down at Bowsers Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McDaniels's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Hauser buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McDaniels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hauser was well out of range. Poor timing from McDaniels.
McDaniels throws a body shot but no joy.
McDaniels looks to score with a jab to the body but Hauser is just out of range.

The crowd cheers as Hauser lands an impressive looking overhand right. McDaniels doesn't seem phased though.
Hauser looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
McDaniels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

McDaniels looks to score with a jab to the body but Hauser is just out of range.

McDaniels stuns Hauser with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McDaniels uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hauser has time to react.

and Hauser decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McDaniels's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hauser throws a strike but McDaniels rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hauser controls McDaniels momentarily but McDaniels frees himself.

Hauser has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McDaniels doesn't defend quickly enough and Hauser has managed to lock this one up! Can McDaniels escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hauser on a fantastic submission victory.

A relieved looking Carl Hauser thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
