Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glenn comes to the cage accompanied by Seven Nation Army. Keith Glenn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Glenn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirk Hall!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall swinging wildly here.
Hall tries to bum rush Glenn with a series of wild strikes but Glenn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Glenn scores with a jab to the body.
Glenn misses with a double jab.
Hall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Glenn getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Glenn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hall eats them both and turns towards Glenn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Glenn closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Glenn.
We've been told by Glenn's head coaches at Morbid Conditioning School $1000 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Glenn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hall on his heels. He'll look to pass Hall's guard now, I'm sure.

Glenn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hall for as long as he can get away with.

Hall looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Glenn works Hall's body with a nice hook.

Hall throws a nice looking combination but Glenn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Glenn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Hall tries to keep at a distance but Glenn has taken the fight into the clinch.
Glenn lands a nice uppercut.

Glenn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Glenn prevents Hall from breaking the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Glenn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hall is defending well for now.

Glenn has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hall clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

What can Hall do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Glenn has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Hall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glenn keeps control of the position easily here as Hall tries to buck him off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hall is trapped and Glenn is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Glenn is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Glenn is trying to stick to Hall's back but Hall is turning into Glenn. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Glenn's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hall.

Glenn has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hall throws an elbow that misses. Glenn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hall's guard. Nice move by Glenn!

Glenn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hall can do to turn this around?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Glenn landing with the ground and pound.
Hall is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Glenn content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Glenn stands and steps away. Hall gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A quick step to the side and Glenn tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Glenn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Glenn lands a nice hook to Hall's body. Hall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Glenn tries to counter by clinching up but Hall breaks away and moves out of range.

Glenn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hall misses with a looping left.

Hall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Hall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Glenn thinking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Glenn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hall throws out the jab.
Glenn is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hall.
Hall misses with a straight right.
Glenn was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hall blocks a head kick by Glenn.

Hall is trying to break the clinch but Glenn has him pressed against the cage.

Glenn drops Hall onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Hall is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Hall fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Kirk Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Glenn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Glenn counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hall gets tackled into the cage by Glenn. Glenn maintains the clinch.

Hall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Glenn has him pressed against the cage.
