Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasyl Kutselep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chopper Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasyl Kutselep has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutselep dives in for a single leg takedown but Doom sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kutselep tries to clinch there but Doom circles away.

Kutselep throws a sloppy head kick and Doom moves out of range easily.

Doom fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kutselep to the ground. Doom is now in Kutselep's guard.

Kutselep is working an open guard so Doom takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Doom slaps away a takedown attempt from Kutselep, before circling back to the center of the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kutselep throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Doom feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kutseleps jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Doom leaves Kutselep with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Doom throws a wild body kick that Kutselep sees coming a mile off.

It looks like Vasyl Kutselep has been cut.
Doom pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kutselep back to the cage. Doom follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Kutselep tries to close the distance and clinch but Doom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Doom or perhaps it was just good defense by Kutselep, which made it look bad.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Doom wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kutselep keeps working.
Kutselep misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Doom is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kutselep knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Kutselep's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kutselep moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kutselep looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Doom is fending him off so far but Kutselep persists. Nope, Doom circles away and we're back to standing.

Doom wants to work for an arm triangle but Kutselep is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well Doom has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
