Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Twisted Fate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Twisted Fate will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Twisted Fate!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fate misses with a takedown attempt - Storm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fate misses with the combination.
Fate tries to close the distance and clinch but Storm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Fate looks to move away, Storm throws a big counter combo bu Fate just gets out of the way.

Storm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Storm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fate is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Storm tries for a kimura but Fate is defending well.
Storm has control of an arm but Fate manages to advance to Storm's back!

Fate is trying to stick to Storm's back but Storm is turning into Fate. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fate's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Storm.

Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Storm gets to his feet. Fate looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fate shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Storm attempts a counter takedown but Fate avoids it well and moves away.
Fate falls off balance throwing a combination

so Storm counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Storm gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nice sprawl there from Storm as Fate shoots in.
Mason Storm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Twisted Fate.
Fate tries to clinch but Storm moves out of range.
Fate shoots in looking for a takedown. Storm tries to sprawl out of it but Fate keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Storm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Storm is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Fate.

Storm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Fate wants to get back to his feet but Storm passes into half guard.
Storm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fate wants to get back to full guard.
