The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Altare.

Churchhill scores with a shot to the body.
Altare throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Altare slips a jab from Churchhill.
Altare bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Altare takes the fight into the clinch.
Churchhill tries to break free but Altare pushes him back against the cage.
Altare tries a body shot but Churchhill blocks it.
Altare scores with an uppercut up the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Altare keeps control of Churchhill as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Churchhill seems to have got his legs back now.
Churchhill has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Altare lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Altare creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Churchhill with a big uppercut! Churchhill tries to clinch up but Altare pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Churchhill to the mat! Churchhill covers up and Altare unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, John Altare thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
