Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Vasilyevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasilyevich has chosen Billy Connolly - Ivan the terrible as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar checks the leg kick nicely there.
Aguilar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vasilyevich circles away.
Vasilyevich scores with a head kick. Aguilar tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

We've been hearing reports that Aguilar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Aguilar gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Vasilyevich regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Aguilar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vasilyevich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vasilyevich tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Vasilyevich has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Aguilar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vasilyevich walks away with a smile on his face. Aguilar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Aguilar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vasilyevich explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Aguilar backs away from a small jab... but Vasilyevich lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Aguilar crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Vasilyevich with a spectacular finish!
