The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Hall.
Hall connects with a single shot there.
Smokeleaf tries to close the distance and clinch but Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hall cracks Smokeleaf with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smokeleaf throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Hall stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Smokeleaf follows into mount!
It looks like Jonathan Hall has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Smokeleaf wants to control the pace but Hall is squirming around nicely.
