Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carey Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitar Zvonimir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zvonimir drives through and clinches with Page against the cage.
Page wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Zvonimir managing to block the knees to the body from Page.
Zvonimir breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Page misses with a takedown attempt - Zvonimir sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Despite the aggression on Zvonimir's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Page working hard to break the clinch.
Zvonimir escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zvonimir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zvonimir wants to get back to his feet.
Page trying to control here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Page is looking for a sweep. Zvonimir is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zvonimir wants to stand up but Page has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Page is looking to control Zvonimir's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Page avoid being mounted?

Page is looking to escape.
Page won't allow Zvonimir to pass to mount.
Page pushes Zvonimir off looking to stand but Zvonimir dives back in and keeps control.
Page is trying to control but can't.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Zvonimir closes the distance and pushes Page back into the cage.
Page tries to break the clinch but Zvonimir is controlling the position.
Zvonimir keeps control of Page as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Page.
Page tries to circle away but Zvonimir has him pinned against the cage.
Zvonimir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Page moves into the clinch.
Page misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Page tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Page tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Page is trying to break the clinch but Zvonimir has him pressed against the cage.
Page can't break the clinch.
Zvonimir breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zvonimir is looking to clinch.
Zvonimir clinches.
Zvonimir jumps guard.
Page stopping the sweep attempt from Zvonimir.
Zvonimir keeping moving, preventing Page from controlling successfully.
Zvonimir has his foot on Page's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Page works his way back into a safe position though.

Page trying to control but Zvonimir is working from the bottom.
Zvonimir wants to stand but Page is controlling the position.
Page postures up.
Page trying to control the position from guard on top but Zvonimir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Page fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carey Page. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Page fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Page breaks from the clinch.
Page swats away the attempt to clinch by Zvonimir.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Page throws a sloppy head kick and Zvonimir moves out of range easily.
Zvonimir clinches up with Page and pushes him back against the cage.
Zvonimir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zvonimir scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Carey Page has been cut.
Zvonimir misses with a jab, cross combination.
Page wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Page fails with a takedown attempt.
Page is breathing heavily.
Page moves out of range of the body kick.
Zvonimir shoots in and bounces Page off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Page has momentary wrist control but Zvonimir slips an elbow through the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dmitar Zvonimir dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Carey Page's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zvonimir tries to clinch but Page moves out of range.
Page wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Zvonimir lands a high kick!
Page is rocked!
Page gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Zvonimir goes for a counter takedown and lands it with interest - it's knocked his opponent senseless! It looks like Zvonimir 's shoulder did the damage as the two fighters hit the mat.
