The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akinfenwa lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Akinfenwa.
Akinfenwa throws a jab but it's blocked by Mrsic.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Still in the clinch, Akinfenwa scores with a nice short uppercut.
Akinfenwa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mrsic backwards.
Akinfenwa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mrsic avoids the elbow strike from Akinfenwa, against the cage.

Akinfenwa misses with a hook from the clinch.

Mrsic tries to throw a body punch but Akinfenwa avoids it by throwing Mrsic back against the cage.

Akinfenwa swings wildly with an uppercut but Mrsic uses good head movement to avoid it.

Akinfenwa gets through Mrsic's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Akinfenwa is looking to control Mrsic's arms but Mrsic gets an underhook and turns him. Now Akinfenwa has his back to the cage.

It looks like Adebayo Akinfenwa has been cut.
Mrsic lands a right hand that snaps the head of Akinfenwa backwards.

Mrsic drops Akinfenwa onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Akinfenwa is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Akinfenwa is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Akinfenwa is looking to break free of the clinch but Mrsic has double underhooks.

Mrsic pushes Akinfenwa against the cage and as Akinfenwa bounces back, Mrsic cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Mrsic follows up with more strikes but Akinfenwa was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!
