PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Goode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Remedy. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Funk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Goode sprawls well initially but Funk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Funk looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Goode is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Funk scores with a couple of nice shots.
Funk is trying to control the action in half guard but Goode is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Funk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Funk working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Goode turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Funk off and cradles Goode's limp body as Funk celebrates with his corner.
