Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Helmut Doerner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cechini Muszyna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doerner comes to the cage accompanied by Balls to the Wall by Accept. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doerner moves away from the strike by Muszyna.
Muszyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doerner moves away.
Doerner attempts a counter takedown but Muszyna avoids it well and moves away.

Doerner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Doerner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Doerner is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Muszyna's shoulder. That is not cool.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doerner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Muszyna is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Muszyna takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Muszyna lunges at Doerner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Doerner's hand.
Muszyna looks to score with a jab to the body but Doerner is just out of range.
Muszyna takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Doerner is looking to chop away at Muszyna's legs.
Muszyna tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doerner was well out of range. Poor timing from Muszyna.
Muszyna misses with an uppercut. Doerner saw that one coming.
Doerner wants to clinch up but Muszyna keeps it at a distance.
Doerner takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Muszyna lands a right hook to the body.
Muszyna fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Doerner avoids a kick to the body.
Doerner tries to counter by clinching up but Muszyna breaks away and moves out of range.
Muszyna shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Muszyna. That's going to slow Doerner down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cechini Muszyna dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Doerner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Doerner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muszyna swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doerner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Muszyna throws a lazy right hand but Doerner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Doerner attempts a counter takedown but Muszyna avoids it well and moves away.
Doerner shoots in for a double leg but Muszyna sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helmut Doerner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Muszyna stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Muszyna wants it to stay on the feet.
Doerner avoids the body shot from Muszyna.
Doerner shoots for a double leg takedown but Muszyna sprawls well. He's pushed Doerner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Muszyna connects with a good right hand that stumbles Doerner. Doerner circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Muszyna has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Muszyna throws out a loose jab but Doerner uses good head movement to avoid it.

Muszyna sends Doerner crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Muszyna is motioning to the referee to let Doerner up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
