The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Totti shoots for a double leg takedown but Gilbert sprawls well. He's pushed Totti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gilbert feints and as Totti raises his hands in defense, Gilbert changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gilbert stands and steps away. Totti gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Totti scores with a one two! Gilbert had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Totti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gilbert.
Gilbert looks to land a body kick but Totti moved away.

Gilbert darts in and clinches Totti up against the cage.

Gilbert thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Totti if he has to take too many more of those.

Gilbert is taking a breather. Totti says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
