The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witczak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sellers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A low kick from Sellers misses

and Witczak holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sellers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Sellers successfully pulls guard.
Sellers has a closed guard, preventing Witczak from standing up.

Sellers pushes Witczak off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Witczak uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sellers has time to react.

It looks like Ezequiel Sellers has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sellers jumps guard but Witczak turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Sellers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Sellers prevents Witczak from escaping the position.

Sellers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Witczak, who protects the arm well.

Witczak is trying to control Sellers's posture but Sellers avoids it.
Sellers connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Witczak some visible discomfort.
Witczak is trying to get back to half guard.
Witczak wants to get back to his feet.
Sellers gets to mount! Witczak was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Sellers landing strikes from the mount and Witczak is in trouble!

Witczak is trying to stand back up but Sellers is controlling him

Sellers throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Witczak counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Sellers to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Witczak!
