And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Saeba is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kim is controlling him well.
Kim looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Saeba is avoiding damage well.
Kim lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Saeba is looking to regain half guard here but Kim keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Saeba is looking for a sweep.
Kim throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Kim throws a strike aimed at the side of Saeba's head but Saeba avoids it well.
Kim wants to stand but Saeba has his arm trapped.

Saeba gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Saeba is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kim thows a huge punch but Saeba dodges it nicely.

Kim is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Saeba steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kim.
Kim swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Saeba drops Kim with a left right combo! Saeba follows him down to the ground into side control.
Kim is rocked!
It looks like Mikey Kim has been cut.
Kim throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kim trying to remain calm as Saeba controls from the top position.
Kim sneaks back into half guard.
Kim is staying active underneath Saeba, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Saeba prevents Kim from improving his position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Saeba lands a nice short elbow.
Saeba is tying to control. Kim wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Saeba is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Saeba counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Kim stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Saeba.
A solid body kick from Saeba.
Saeba lands a glancing blow to the side of Kim's head.
Saeba punishes Kim's body with a nice straight punch.
Saeba lands a high kick to the side of Kim's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Saeba dives into guard, looking to finish.
Oh Kim is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Saeba trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom.
Saeba slips nicely into half guard.
Kim seems to have got his legs back now.
Saeba looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kim is looking to escape.
Saeba controlling the action here.

Kim tries to kick Saeba off but Saeba keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kim is not content to let Saeba control the position.
Kim is looking to improve his position.
Saeba looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Saeba is keen to just control but Kim is a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kim is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.

Kim uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saeba.
Saeba scores with a push kick.
Kim is looking to clinch.
The fighters circling - Kim throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice cross by Saeba.
Kim tries to clinch but Saeba moves away
and Saeba counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Kim! This one is all over!
